Prague Town Hall Pass

On the Skip the Line Tips and Tricks post I showed you how to buy an e-ticket to the Old Town Hall which avoids the queue for the tickets and also reduces the price from CZK250 to CZK210. On this post, for those who want to explore a little more I’ll show you how to get the Town Hall Pass which covers the Old Town Hall (on the Old Town Square) and the New Town Hall at Karlovo Námestí (Charles Square).

Who Wants the Prague Town Hall Pass?

Lets say that you want to go to the Old Town Hall. You’re going to visit the Gothic Chapel and the underground part as well as the tower viewing gallery. You turn up and buy a ticket which is CZK250. The Prague Town Hall Pass is only CZK100 more and yet you get a second visit to the Old Town Hall tower which means you can go once during the day and again after dark (closes at 10pm). PLUS you get access to the Old Town Hall Museum PLUS you can also access the New Town Hall tower and Baroque Chapel. Stunning views from both locations. So if you are looking for a cheap way to get rooftop photos then this is a great deal for you.

Where to Buy and How Much?

You can buy the Town Hall Pass at either town hall location but at the Old Town Hall you have to buy the ticket from the first floor ticket office. It’s valid for 3 days (including the day you buy it) and at the time of writing it was CZK350 for an adult (CZK250 for child/student/senior). Tour Tip: If you don’t need the multiple entry part then get a Cool Pass as both the Old Town Hall and New Town Hall are on that.

Restrictions

For the New Town Hall note that it has a summer season and it’s closed on Mondays. They have a lunch break 12pm to 1pm and they close at 6pm. At the Old Town Hall it’s open from 9am to 10pm except Mondays when it’s open from 11am.
