Manifesto Market Florenc

Manifesto Market Florenc (Now Closed)

If you are anywhere near the Republic Square area of Prague then you are a ten minute walk from Manifesto Market Florenc where you’ll find a “container city” hosting a collection of places for eating and drinking outside with covered and uncovered options.

Opening Hours

It’s open 7 days a week and always opens at 11am for lunch. Sunday to Thursday it closes at 10pm, Friday and Saturday it closes at midnight. Note that the eateries will have various “last orders” times before then.

The Vibe

If you are going to eat here then my advice is first to get a drink and then enjoy that while you are browsing the food choice. Remember that bit at the back as well (personally I prefer to eat under the covered area but drink in the open bit at the back). You can make reservations for private cubby-holes but in general most people will use the common tables i.e. get your food and drink and then sit anywhere there’s a space. There’s background music but nothing that will spoil any conversation. It’s open all year around so don’t let any cold weather put you off as when they have the space heaters under the covered section you’ll actually need to take off your jacket.

The Location

Manifesto Market Florenc is just a three minute walk from the Florenc metro/tram stop so if you are coming from here head in the direction of the McDonalds under the highway flyover and take the street next to it called “Na Florenci” after 100 metres Manifesto will be on your left. If you come here via the other end of Na Florenci then it’s a 7 minute walk from Republic Square via V Celnice and Na Florenci.

This is restaurant-quality food but without the services so I put it in mid-range. All places accept credit cards and contactless payment but bring cash as well as sometimes they have “terminal failures”.
